After the first Windows/Linux release is available: install the Windows NSIS package on a real Windows system; select English BDO; verify Documents detection, loot OCR, pause/resume, Stop, and capture reconnect. Verify an upgrade between two published versions on Windows and Linux AppImage, including desktop notice, explicit Restart, session guard, and preserved settings/history. Check the manual Download path for tar/unpacked Linux. Cross-builds and offline updater tests do not cover these operating-system checks. Windows packages are unsigned and native template matching/game-window overlay placement remain unsupported.

v0.1.2 is public: https://git.it-lampe.de/rexlManu/garmith-app/releases/tag/v0.1.2 . It shows live updater progress/errors in Settings > About, downloads the full Windows installer directly, and makes a no-progress download retryable after three minutes. The v0.1.0 screenshot showed stale text but did not prove the network download stalled. Please verify a real Windows install/update when available. If an older app stays on Downloading, close it and run the v0.1.2 installer manually; it keeps the install folder and settings.

Source fix pushed in 09b1688: Restart now requests a silent NSIS install on Windows. The next installer also treats the updater --updated flag as silent, so upgrades started by older app versions should skip the setup wizard while first installs retain the folder chooser. The existing update banner shows download progress. Workspace and release tests pass. CI package build and a native two-version Windows update remain open.

Main CI run 42 passed for source commit 09b1688 and built the Windows NSIS package with the silent-upgrade rule. A real update between two published Windows versions is still required before this issue can close.

v0.1.3 is published with silent NSIS updates and 30-minute automatic checks. Tag CI run 44 built the package; assets and manifests are public. Keep this issue open for a real Windows update from v0.1.2 to v0.1.3 and gameplay checks.
